Overview
The Yass Dam Upgrade project involved a variety of works re- quired to raise the spillway crest and improve dam safety to com- ply with current standards. Deco- TEC’s scope included the removal of the existing outlet structure and six reinforced concrete bridge piers. In addition to this two flood mitigation slots were cut into the crest of the dam which were used to reduce downtime during flood events.
