Avon Dam Rd Bridge

Select Civil engaged Decotec to demolish the existing Avon Dam Rd bridge so they could construct an upgraded bridge in its place. A narrow 1km road led down to the bridge resulting in incredibly difficult access for craneage and haul trucks. The existing bridge was cut into 12 tonne sections and lifted onto semi trailers using a 350tonne crane. The trucks reversed each beam back up narrow access road to the stockpile area for processing.
