Overview
Doval engaged Decotec to remove 200 tonne of concrete from the Cooloolabin Dam spillway crest to reduce the dam capacity due to modern safety constraints. The spillway was cut into 27 sections using diamond wire and then hydraulically split into a total of 80 sections, which were lifted out with a barge crane.
