Overview
Decotec’s internal engineers liaised with BGC’s project management team to devise a demolition methodology that would satisfy the challenging safety, quality and environmental constraints. A cut & lift approach was designed which utilised a 110 tonne crane situated on a load distributing platform positioned on the bridge spans. The methodology ensured all debris and concrete slurry was contained to keep the beautiful waterway crystal clear.
