Rock, Asphalt & Concrete Cutting & Breaking

Asphalt, Rock & Concrete Cutting

Our operators are highly experienced and specialise in the below forms of masonry and concrete cutting.

Concrete Cutting - Wall Sawing

Wall Sawing

Featuring large, track-mounted, diamond blades, wall saws are ideally suited to wall or floor penetrations to depths of 1m and where accurate concrete cutting is required.

Concrete Cutting - Wire Sawing

Wire Sawing

Used where cuts deeper than wall saws are required with no overcut at the corners, wire sawing is also suitable for low noise-controlled deconstruction.

Concrete Cutting - Wall Sawing

Road Sawing

We have saws from 16hp to 72hp. Diesel, or 3-phase electric for confined space or where ventilation problems exist. Concrete Cutting depths of up to 850mm deep.

Concrete Cutting - Core Drilling

Core Drilling

Conventional diamond core drilling is quiet and can be conducted through heavy reinforcement. It is also suitable where combustion exhaust is restricted.

Concrete Cutting - Large Diameter Core Drilling

Large Coring

In addition to standard coring we have rigs designed to core drill over 1200mm in diameter. We also have continuous coring rigs which allow core drilling to depths over 25m.

Concrete Cutting - Ring Sawing

Hand / Ring Sawing

All our operators carry petrol hand saws that will cut to 150mm. We also have hydraulic and High Cycle Electric hand and ring saws that will cut to a depth of 260mm.

Bursting, Splitting & Crushing

In instances where masonry and concrete cutting is not suitable there are many other deconstruction approaches. Hydraulic Bursting, Expanding Grout and Hydraulic Splitting are all methods that will crack many high strength materials. Hydraulic Crushing can be used as a quiet and more controlled alternative to hammering.

Concrete Cutting - Hydraulic Bursting

Hydraulic Bursting

Designed for the controlled breaking of hard rock and concrete. Bursters can apply up to 2,120 tonnes of pressing force.

Concrete Cutting - Hydraulic Splitting

Hydraulic Splitting

Splitters allow quiet and controlled breaking of rock and concrete in difficult-to-access areas, and can apply a splitting force of up to 420 tonnes.

Concrete Cutting - Expanding Grout

Expanding Grout

An alternative to explosives and other methods, expanding grout does not cause fly rock, noise, ground vibrations, gas or dust.

Concrete Cutting - Hydraulic Splitting

Crushing

Crushers are used for the hand breaking of walls, floors and piers up to 400mm thick and can applying biting force of up to 30 tonnes.

Hammer Drilling & Breaking

Concrete Breaking - Mechanical Hammering

Mechanical Hammering

Mechanical hammering is often the most economical solution on projects that don’t have high environmental constraints or require low tolerances.

Concrete Breaking - Jack Hammering

Jack Hammering

Pneumatic or Electric Hammering is used for detailed breaking. (i.e. a portion of concrete needs to be removed without damaging  reinforcement.)

Concrete Breaking - Hammer Drilling DTH

Hammer Drilling

Conventional hammer drilling and DTH drilling are economical solutions when holes are required to be drilled in rock or concrete that isn’t reinforced.
Concrete Breaking - Demolition Robot

Electric Robot

Breaking and crushing robots are perfect for projects with access or exhaust restrictions but otherwise demand the productivity of an excavator.
